Levels
GCSEs and A levels are studied over a two year period and mark an important stage in a young person’s learning journey, with Maths and English forming key foundations.
At Ocean & Tree, our mentorship goes beyond subject support. We offer online tuition, delivered one-to-one or in small groups, with a strong focus on building confidence, clarity and effective study habits. Our experienced mentors take the time to understand each learner and tailor support accordingly. University brings a very different kind of challenge. Learning becomes more self-directed, expectations are less explicit and students are required to manage their time, workload and thinking far more independently.
At Ocean & Tree, our university support is designed to meet students at this stage with calm, thoughtful guidance. We work alongside young adults to help them develop clarity in their thinking, confidence in their academic voice, and structure in how they approach their studies.
Support may include guidance with coursework and academic writing, understanding lecture content, planning and organisation, and navigating applications or next steps. Rather than doing the work for students, our mentors help them build the skills and mindset needed to manage university demands with confidence and intention.
All support is delivered online and shaped around the individual, offering steady guidance that respects independence while providing reassurance when it’s needed most.
